Small group products (available to businesses with two to 50 employees) continue to access the broad commercial networks (BlueCross Preferred Blue^® network or BlueChoice^® HealthPlan networks). This includes those small group products purchased through the Federally Facilitated Marketplace or private marketplace (Exchange).

Here are some tips to help you understand the differences between these networks and if you are eligible to see these small group members.

• The BlueCross Preferred Blue network and the BlueChoice network are separate from the BlueEssentials^SM and BlueOption^SM networks.
• The BlueEssentials and BlueOption networks are exclusive provider organizations (EPOs). No benefits are available for procedures and services provided outside the network.
• The name of the BlueCross small group exchange product is Business BlueEssentials^SM (alpha prefixes ZCV or ZCR on the member's identification card).
• The name of the BlueChoice small group exchange product is Business Advantage (alpha prefixes ZCL or ZCG on the member's identification card).
